Transguard Group, a leading business solutions provider in the UAE, has launched its new Emirati Talent Internship Programme, creating practical career development opportunities for UAE National students and recent graduates aged 18 and above.
Starting in September 2026, the programme will give participants hands-on workplace experience across a diverse range of operational and corporate functions, supporting their transition from academic life into the professional environment.
Practical experience across multiple business functions
The UAE National Talent programme will provide internship opportunities across Transguard’s operational businesses, including Security, Facilities Management and Transport.
Participants will also have access to opportunities within key corporate and support functions, including Human Resources, Finance, Marketing and other corporate roles, allowing them to explore different career paths and gain exposure to a broad business environment.
Flexible internships designed around students’ needs
Recognising the different academic and career pathways of participants, Transguard Group has designed the programme with flexible internship durations.
The structure allows internships to accommodate university requirements, academic schedules and individual development objectives, giving students greater flexibility while gaining professional experience.
Interns will work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to real business projects. Through this hands-on approach, participants will have the opportunity to strengthen practical skills, build professional confidence and develop a deeper understanding of the industries in which they work.
Transguard focuses on developing future Emirati leaders
Rabie Atieh, Chief Executive Officer of Transguard Group, said the future success of the UAE will be shaped by the ambition, innovation and talent of its young people.
He added that Transguard is committed to creating meaningful opportunities for Emirati students and graduates to gain practical experience, develop valuable skills and discover their potential.
According to Atieh, the new internship programme reflects the company’s commitment to Emiratisation and its efforts to empower the next generation of UAE leaders as they prepare to enter the workforce.
Supporting Emiratisation and long-term career development
The programme forms part of Transguard Group’s broader commitment to supporting Emiratisation and creating career pathways for UAE Nationals across a wide range of industries.
By combining real-world exposure, professional mentoring and practical workplace experience, the initiative aims to help develop future-ready Emirati talent and equip participants with skills that can support their long-term professional development.
Contributing to the UAE’s knowledge-based economy
Beyond providing internship opportunities, the initiative supports the UAE’s broader ambition to develop a knowledge-based economy driven by skilled national talent, innovation and professional capabilities.
Through investment in young Emirati talent and the creation of meaningful pathways into employment, Transguard aims to contribute to the country’s long-term economic and social development while helping UAE Nationals build rewarding careers across diverse sectors.
