Panasonic has announced a major expansion of its professional MEVIX display portfolio with the launch of the new SQ3 Series of 4K LCD displays, reinforcing its long-term strategy to deliver a fully integrated and future-ready visual solutions ecosystem.

The announcement was made in Wiesbaden, where the company outlined its continued commitment to advancing display technologies across projection, LED, and LCD platforms as part of a unified and scalable ecosystem designed for modern enterprise environments.

Designed for Continuous 24/7 Professional Use

The new SQ3 Series has been engineered to support always-on operations, delivering reliable performance for 24/7 use cases across retail, corporate, education, and monitoring environments.

This launch aligns with Panasonic’s broader strategy to provide flexible, high-performance display solutions capable of meeting the demands of diverse professional settings while ensuring operational stability in mission-critical applications.

Ultra-Clear 4K Performance with Enhanced Visibility

Featuring a native 4K resolution of 3840 × 2160, the SQ3 Series delivers sharp, detailed image quality suitable for a wide range of content including digital signage, presentations, and surveillance monitoring feeds.

The displays support 4K/60p signal input for smooth video playback, while a 25% haze anti-glare coating reduces reflections and improves visibility in brightly lit environments such as retail stores and corporate offices.

Flexible Sizing for Multiple Business Environments

The SQ3 Series is available in six screen sizes—86, 75, 65, 55, 50, and 43 inches—offering deployment flexibility across various professional environments.

Larger models (65 inches and above) incorporate Advanced Super Dimensional Switch (ADS) panel technology to deliver wide viewing angles with consistent color and brightness, while smaller variants utilize Vertical Alignment (VA) panels optimized for balanced visual performance in compact spaces.

Enhanced Installation and Energy Efficiency Features

To improve installation versatility, the SQ3 Series supports tilt adjustment of up to 20 degrees both forward and backward, enabling flexible mounting configurations across different environments.

In addition, a built-in signal detection feature automatically powers the display on or off based on input activity, helping reduce unnecessary energy consumption and supporting more efficient always-on operations.

Seamless Integration with Professional AV Systems

The SQ3 Series is equipped with three HDMI™ inputs, all supporting HDCP 2.2, along with HDMI™ CEC functionality for simplified device control.

To enhance system integration, the displays also support RS-232C and PJLink™ protocols, enabling centralized remote management and reducing operational complexity in large-scale deployments.

Strategic Vision for a Scalable Display Future

According to Hartmut Kulessa, Head of Marketing at Panasonic Projector & Display EMEA, the SQ3 Series reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to aligning product development with real-world customer requirements.

He emphasized that the new range plays a key role within Panasonic’s broader strategy to deliver a scalable, end-to-end ecosystem across display technologies, while continuing to innovate with upcoming solutions, including touch-enabled display systems.
