His Excellency Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director General of Digital Dubai, said: A year has passed since H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan assumed the Presidency of the United Arab Emirates. In that short period, our beloved country has achieved tremendous feats and continues to cement its position as a global benchmark for exemplary leadership and citizen-centric nation-building.
Our President is building on the legacy of our Founding Father, the Late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the great leader who inspired his people to rise to every challenge, so they followed him in the path of establishment, development, and progress of our nation, a success story that impresses the world today.
Following Sheikh Zayed’s footsteps, the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan carried the banner empowering the Emirati to take the helm. And today, the leader of our country has the same flag, ushering in a new era that centres around sustainability, shaping the future, and providing all elements of economic prosperity, now and in the future, with a vision to benefit all of humanity. What sets our strategic directions apart during the reign of H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed is the broad human dimension and the focus on comprehensive sustainability to preserve the future of humanity through carbon neutrality and strong support for digital innovation.
On this occasion, which is dear to the heart of every Emirati and every UAE resident, we renew our allegiance and belonging to our President and pledge to do everything in our power to achieve greater prosperity for our country and ensure that the UAE remains at the forefront as an inspiring model of a nation that rallies around their leadership, and acts as an example in facing all challenges and achieving the impossible.
His Excellency Yousuf Hamad Al Shaibani, Director General of the Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC), said: The first anniversary of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan assuming the UAE Presidency is a special occasion that is near and dear to the hearts of all Emiratis; an occasion that fills them with pride in their Emirati identity, and reaffirms their loyalty to their wise and generous leadership that redefined what it means to challenge the impossible and shape the future, a leadership that loves and cares for its people, so its people love it back, pledging their dedication to keeping our nation’s flag flying high.
The forward-thinking vision of H.H., the President of the UAE, is evident in his efforts to anticipate future trends and his faith in the value of technology and its ability to change people’s lives for the better and ensure sustainability, wellbeing, economic diversification, security, and safety – both on the ground or in cyberspace, H.E. Al Shaibani added. With that in mind, investing in human beings became the top priority since the first steps of our country’s journey, and the cornerstone in our nation-building efforts, which set the stage for a prosperous and sustainable society.
His Excellency Younus Al Nasser, Assistant Director-General of Digital Dubai, CEO of the Dubai Data Establishment, said: Under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, our country is no longer waiting for its future, it has already embarked on a bright future from today. This is what H.H.’s strategic vision has achieved as he succeeds his predecessor. This vision stands out with its limitless ambition, rooted in sustainable strategic directions that centre around human beings and strives to ensure their wellbeing, all the while driving innovation, embracing the breakthroughs of the future, and employing the latest solutions and technologies to support the national economy and boost the UAE’s global competitiveness. I believe that with the significant leap we have made in the field of data and other digitalization solutions and applications, we can effectively contribute to the national efforts to realise our wise leadership’s vision on the ground.
On this occasion– the first anniversary of H.H. assuming the Presidency of the UAE – we renew our loyalty to our leadership and our commitment to continue working hard and rallying all efforts to contribute to the UAE’s development,” H.E. His Excellency Matar AlHemeiri, CEO of the Smart Dubai Government Establishment, said: On the first anniversary of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan assuming the post of President of the UAE, we congratulate the Emirati people on the successes of our wise leadership and their forward-thinking vision, which was embodied on the ground with unremitting efforts and inspiring achievements that firmly place the UAE on the map among the most advanced and developed countries around the world in various fields, foremost of which is digital transformation and the use of smart technologies to serve people, where the Emirates has become an example to be emulated among nations.
