Enterprise AI

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a global leader in IT services, consulting, and business solutions, has announced a landmark global partnership with Anthropic, the developer of the advanced AI model Claude. This collaboration aims to accelerate the adoption and scaling of enterprise AI across industries worldwide.

Dedicated Business Unit to Drive Innovation

As part of the agreement, TCS will establish a specialized business unit focused on delivering high-value AI-driven solutions. Leveraging early access to Claude models, the company will co-develop industry-specific offerings, strengthen its AI engineering capabilities, and create tailored value propositions for enterprise clients seeking scalable transformation.

Overcoming Barriers in Regulated Industries

One of the core objectives of this partnership is to address the persistent challenges faced by organizations in highly regulated sectors. Many AI initiatives fail to progress beyond pilot stages due to strict requirements around accuracy, auditability, and governance. By combining TCS’s expertise in implementation, controls, and compliance with Claude’s advanced capabilities, enterprises will be able to confidently deploy enterprise AI solutions in real-world production environments.

Global Premier Role in Claude Partner Network

As a Global Premier Partner within the Claude Partner Network, TCS will enable enterprises to access AI models that meet the highest standards of precision, resilience, and governance. The partnership integrates large-scale internal deployment, joint go-to-market strategies, industry-focused innovation, and workforce enablement—providing a clear and practical path toward full-scale enterprise AI adoption.

Empowering 50,000 Employees with AI Skills

TCS plans to equip approximately 50,000 associates across engineering, finance, legal, marketing, and sales with access to Claude through enterprise-wide licensing. By embedding AI into its internal operations, TCS will gain hands-on experience in transforming business processes, which will directly enhance its ability to support client success and innovation.

Industry-Wide AI Solutions Across Key Sectors

The partnership will jointly deliver AI-powered solutions and services across a wide range of industries, particularly those with strict regulatory frameworks, including:

Financial services

Public sector organizations

Life sciences and healthcare

Aviation and telecommunications

Medical technology

Together, TCS and Anthropic will co-create solutions that enhance workflows, modernize legacy systems, and transform customer experiences through advanced enterprise AI capabilities.

Extending AI Across TCS Platforms and Products

The collaboration will also extend to TCS platforms and domain-specific solutions:

Diligenta (UK): A TCS subsidiary regulated by the FCA, serving over 22 million life and pensions customers, will utilize Claude to transform customer experience through large-scale agentic process automation.

TCS iON Platform: Conducting over 75 million assessments annually across 1,500 cities in India, the platform will introduce high-impact AI training and certification programs to build a future-ready workforce.

Claude Code Integration: BFSI product and platform teams will leverage Claude Code to boost productivity in software engineering and IT operations.

Additionally, TCS will contribute domain-driven engineering expertise to the Claude ecosystem by developing reusable skills and plugins for applications such as insurance claims processing and lending advisory.
