Dell Technologies

Dell Technologies (NYSE: DELL), the global leader in AI-optimized infrastructure, has unveiled significant enhancements to the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA, introducing a full suite of next-generation solutions designed to accelerate enterprise AI adoption, streamline operations, and deliver faster outcomes across the AI deployment lifecycle.

Why It Matters: Moving from Experimentation to Execution

As AI becomes central to enterprise strategies, organizations are rapidly transitioning from pilot projects to full-scale implementation. With this shift comes growing demand for scalable infrastructure, robust platforms, and AI-ready solutions.

The Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA directly addresses this need—offering end-to-end AI capabilities that integrate compute, data management, networking, and managed services.

Next-Gen PowerEdge Servers: Performance Meets Scalability

Dell introduced its most advanced server lineup to date, pushing the boundaries of AI performance:

  • Air-cooled PowerEdge XE9780 and XE9785 simplify integration with existing data centers.
  • Liquid-cooled XE9780L and XE9785L accelerate rack-scale deployment for large AI workloads.
  • Supports up to 192 NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs, scalable to 256 GPUs per Dell IR7000 rack—delivering up to 4x faster large language model (LLM) training using NVIDIA HGX B300.

Additional innovations include:

  • PowerEdge XE9712 with NVIDIA GB300 NVL72, offering 50x more AI inference output and 5x throughput with Dell PowerCool for enhanced energy efficiency.
  • PowerEdge XE7745, launching July 2025, will support NVIDIA RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs, ideal for robotics, digital twins, and multimodal AI applications.
  • Future support for NVIDIA Vera CPU and NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform integrated into Dell’s scalable systems architecture.

AI-Optimized Networking for Lightning-Fast Connectivity

To support high-speed AI data traffic, Dell expanded its networking portfolio:

  • Dell PowerSwitch SN5600 and SN2201 Ethernet switches, based on NVIDIA Spectrum-X.
  • NVIDIA Quantum-X800 InfiniBand, offering up to 800 Gbps throughput.
  • All backed by Dell ProSupport and Deployment Services for expert implementation across all stages of AI rollout.

Dell Technologies and NVIDIA Deliver Fully Integrated, End-to-End AI Solutions

The AI Factory with NVIDIA aligns with the NVIDIA Enterprise AI Factory validated design, combining:

  • Dell PowerEdge compute
  • Dell and NVIDIA networking and storage
  • NVIDIA AI Enterprise software suite

This creates the first truly end-to-end enterprise AI solution, covering everything from model training to edge deployment.

Advancing Data Platforms for High-Performance AI Applications

Because AI relies on data, Dell has upgraded its AI Data Platform to ensure constant, high-quality data access:

  • Dell ObjectScale enables massive AI deployments while reducing cost and data center footprint via a dense, software-defined architecture.
  • NVIDIA BlueField-3 and Spectrum-4 integrations boost performance and scalability.
  • S3 over RDMA support brings 230% higher throughput, 80% lower latency, and 98% CPU load reduction—perfect for maximizing GPU efficiency.

Additionally, Dell introduced a curated NVIDIA AI Data Platform integration, accelerating data insights and enabling agentic AI applications.

New Software Stack Enables Seamless Agentic AI Workflows

Dell now offers the NVIDIA AI Enterprise platform directly, including:

  • NVIDIA NIM, NeMo microservices, NeMo Retriever for RAG
  • NVIDIA Blueprints, Llama Nemotron models

These tools simplify agentic AI development, speeding time-to-value and supporting custom AI workflows on Red Hat OpenShift, now available via Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA.

Managed Services: AI Operations Made Simple

Dell introduced new managed services that streamline AI implementation by overseeing the entire NVIDIA AI stack—from infrastructure to software.

Services include:

  • 24/7 monitoring, patching, and version upgrades
  • Expert-led support to reduce strain on internal teams
  • Scalable, cost-effective AI operations for faster business outcomes

Executive Perspectives: Making AI Accessible at Scale

“We’re on a mission to bring AI to millions of customers around the world,” said Michael Dell, Chairman and CEO of Dell Technologies.

“With the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA, enterprises can manage the entire AI lifecycle—from training to deployment—at any scale.”

“AI factories are the modern infrastructure powering industries,” added Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA.

“With Dell, we’re offering the most comprehensive Blackwell AI systems to drive intelligence across cloud, enterprise, and edge environments.”
