Liquid Intelligent Technologies, a subsidiary of Cassava Technologies, has announced the launch of advanced cloud and cybersecurity solutions for businesses and enterprises across Botswana, marking a major step toward improving the country’s digital resilience and technological infrastructure.
The announcement coincides with Liquid’s celebration of ten years of operations in Botswana, where the company has steadily expanded its telecommunications and digital infrastructure footprint.

Secure360 Takes Center Stage
At the heart of the newly introduced services is Secure360, Liquid’s integrated cybersecurity framework designed to help organizations transition from reactive breach management to proactive threat intelligence, protection, and assurance.
The platform combines local service delivery with continent-wide infrastructure and strategic global technology partnerships, enabling enterprises to access world-class cybersecurity and cloud capabilities aligned with Botswana’s national digital transformation objectives.
The services will be available to both existing and prospective customers in Botswana, targeting organizations of all sizes across sectors such as government, telecommunications, finance, and critical infrastructure.
Over 1,174 Kilometers of Fiber Infrastructure Deployed
According to Odirile Tamajobe, Liquid has deployed more than 1,174.08 kilometers of fiber infrastructure over the past decade, delivering multi-terabit network capacity and enhanced digital resilience throughout the region.
Tamajobe explained that the company also established a 730-kilometer backbone network along Botswana’s A1 highway, positioning the country as a strategic digital connectivity hub linking networks from Zimbabwe, South Africa, Kenya, Zambia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Sudan.
He added that the introduction of cloud and cybersecurity services into Botswana will empower local enterprises with globally competitive digital tools and secure technology solutions capable of supporting long-term business growth.

One Cassava Strategy Drives Integrated Digital Ecosystem
The latest expansion reflects Cassava Technologies’ broader “One Cassava” strategy, which focuses on delivering integrated digital infrastructure, platforms, and services across Africa.
Ziaad Suleman stated that organizations partnering with Liquid in Botswana gain access to Cassava’s broader digital ecosystem, which extends beyond cybersecurity and cloud services.
Customers will also benefit from access to data centers, AI readiness assessments, and customized digital transformation roadmaps through a unified platform designed to support innovation, operational security, and sustainable digital growth.

Supporting Botswana’s Vision 2036
The rollout of these services comes as Botswana accelerates efforts to achieve its Vision 2036 goals aimed at expanding digital services across public institutions, financial systems, telecommunications networks, and national infrastructure sectors.
Cassava Technologies believes the expansion of advanced digital services will play a key role in strengthening national cybersecurity capabilities, boosting investor confidence, and supporting the country’s transition toward a digitally driven economy.
