Multi-Wing appoints consultancy abcg to spearhead transformational market entry campaign

Multi-Wing, the prominent Danish manufacturer specializing in axial fans for engine cooling and industrial heat exchangers, has announced its appointment of vehicle consultancy abcg to deliver a potentially transformative new market entry project.
Multi-Wing was established in 1938 and, now with Scandinavian private equity investor Altor as a major investor alongside existing shareholder and CEO Jesper Bernhoft, has ambitious growth expectations in the automotive and HVAC industries. With a legacy of innovation and tailoring axial fan products to meet intricate air-moving demands, the company has chosen abcg to navigate a transformative new product introduction and market entry strategy, set to launch in 2024.
Accelerated performance
While many details of the project remain confidential, it is clear that Multi-Wing’s strategic decision to partner with abcg reflects the company’s commitment to achieving accelerated performance improvements. The consultancy’s role extends beyond initial market research and strategy development; the abcg implementation team will now take the reins of the company-wide change management execution process, overseeing all executive and decision-making aspects.

The consultancy will be responsible for steering the product development team, driving the commercial strategy, and overseeing execution. This multifaceted responsibility includes mapping the production footprint, facilitating production ramp-up, rigorous testing and validation, certification compliance, and regulatory adherence.
Leading the project for abcg is managing partner Alan Berger, a seasoned professional with extensive industrial and product development experience, including a background in the HVAC sector. Mr. Berger’s impressive career includes roles as Head of Technology at industry heavyweights Volvo Construction Equipment and Case New Holland.
ABCG’s implementation team, in addition to Berger, includes several of the consultancy’s OEM experts, many with heavyweight backgrounds gained in major market leading brands. They will work hand-in-hand with Multi-Wing to ensure the successful market entry of this groundbreaking new product.
