Acer has unveiled a compact desktop concept powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark, bringing high-performance AI computing into a space-efficient system designed for the growing era of personal AI agents.
Acer Introduces a New Compact AI Desktop
At its next@Acer global press conference on September 2 during IFA 2026, Acer showcased its Acer SFF RTX Spark design, a compact and ultra-efficient desktop powered by the NVIDIA RTX Spark superchip.
The new design is purpose-built for a new generation of personal AI experiences, allowing users to tap into advanced computing capabilities while running agentic AI locally on the desktop.
Up to 1 Petaflop of AI Computing
At the heart of the Acer SFF RTX Spark is the NVIDIA RTX Spark superchip, which combines substantial processing power with a space-saving footprint.
The system is designed to deliver up to 1 petaflop of AI performance and up to 128 GB of high-speed unified memory. This combination is intended to provide the computing resources required for demanding AI workloads while supporting local processing and greater data privacy.
Blackwell GPU and NVIDIA Grace CPU
The Acer SFF RTX Spark features an advanced hardware configuration that includes a Blackwell RTX GPU with up to 6,144 cores, alongside an NVIDIA Grace CPU offering up to 20 cores.
Together, these components provide the processing foundation for AI development and other demanding workloads within a compact desktop form factor.
The platform is also paired with NVIDIA’s full-stack AI platform and its complete suite of RTX technologies, giving creators, AI developers and gamers access to accelerated computing capabilities at the edge.

Built for Personal AI Agents
NVIDIA RTX Spark is designed to redefine personal computing by bringing together personal AI agents, advanced content creation and high-performance gaming within a new platform engineered for the next generation of Windows PC experiences.
By integrating NVIDIA’s AI technologies into compact desktops, the platform is designed to support users who need substantial AI computing power without relying exclusively on remote processing.
For the Acer SFF RTX Spark, this approach enables agentic AI workloads to run locally, combining high-performance computing with the advantages associated with keeping data and processing closer to the user.
Designed for Creators, Developers and Gamers
The Acer SFF RTX Spark is designed to address the needs of creators, AI developers and gamers by bringing NVIDIA’s full-stack AI platform and full range of RTX technologies into a compact desktop design.
Its combination of AI computing power, unified memory and advanced graphics processing is aimed at supporting a broad range of demanding applications, from AI development and agentic workflows to content creation and high-performance gaming.
Availability to Be Announced
Acer has not yet announced when its RTX Spark devices will become available.
The company said availability of Acer RTX Spark devices will be announced at a future date.
