Yalla Group Limited (NYSE: YALA), the largest online social networking and gaming platform in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, has announced a major step in its regional growth strategy with plans to open a new regional headquarters in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, after securing all required commercial licenses.
This strategic expansion reflects Yalla Group’s long-term vision to deepen its presence in one of the region’s most dynamic digital markets and leverage the vast opportunities presented by the Kingdom’s thriving entertainment and technology sectors.

Announcement Made During High-Level Meeting in Beijing
The establishment of the new headquarters was revealed during a meeting in Beijing, China, attended by His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan Al Saud, Chairman of the Saudi Esports Federation (SEF) and the Arab Esports Federation, alongside His Excellency Abdulrahman bin Ahmed Alharbi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the People’s Republic of China.
According to the announcement, the new regional headquarters will open in the first half of 2026 at Roshn Front in Riyadh, serving as a central hub for Yalla Group’s operations, partnerships, and innovation initiatives both in Saudi Arabia and across the region.
A Hub for Growth, Collaboration, and Localization
The Riyadh office will function as a strategic operations center, enabling Yalla Group to strengthen its partnerships with local stakeholders, develop localized gaming content that reflects Saudi culture, and foster collaboration across the Kingdom’s expanding entertainment ecosystem.
Beyond its operational role, the new office will help the company gain deeper market insights, allowing it to adapt its current platforms and introduce innovative digital services tailored to Saudi users’ preferences. The headquarters is also expected to create new employment opportunities, nurturing local talent and supporting the Kingdom’s broader goal of developing a skilled digital workforce.
Confidence in Saudi Arabia’s Digital Vision
Speaking on the occasion, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan Al Saud emphasized that Saudi Arabia continues to solidify its position as a global hub for gaming and digital innovation.
“Yalla’s decision to establish its regional head office in Riyadh underscores international confidence in the Kingdom’s expanding digital economy and the strength of its creative ecosystem,” Prince Faisal said.
He added that Yalla Group’s expansion will enrich the gaming landscape, open new pathways for Saudi talent, and advance the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to make the Kingdom a leading player in global digital entertainment and technology.
