DASSAULT AVIATION strengthened its global technology network by entering a new cooperation with the Technology Innovation Institute (TII). During the Dubai Airshow 2025, DASSAULT AVIATION, TII, and ASPIRE, both operating under the Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC), signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement aimed at accelerating next generation aeronautical products and solutions.

Focus on High Value Aerospace and Defense Technologies

The collaboration targets the development of advanced technologies designed to shape the future of aerospace and defense. Core areas include stealth materials, autonomous subsystems and artificial intelligence functions for aircraft, radio frequency measurement systems, and secure communication systems capable of protecting data and mission operations from cyber threats.

Strengthening Military Readiness and Industrial Growth

The agreement opens new pathways for creating essential technologies that align with the needs of world class military aviation. It supports the UAE’s defense and multi domain ambitions by enabling the development of homegrown innovations, reinforcing the national industrial ecosystem, and expanding the country’s footprint in global export markets.

Building a Sovereign Technological Value Chain

By investing in advanced capabilities and nurturing local expertise, the partnership aims to boost the UAE’s strategic independence. It will play a role in cultivating a sovereign value chain for key technologies, supporting the long term vision set by the nation’s leadership and creating meaningful opportunities for young Emirati talent.

Eric Trappier, Chairman and CEO of DASSAULT AVIATION, said the cooperation reflects a shared drive to deepen synergies among leading technology providers in a critical Research and Technology domain. Dr. Najwa Aaraj, CEO of TII, said advanced technologies have the potential to transform both civil and defense sectors.
