Riyadh Hosts the Landmark Esports Gathering
The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) has confirmed an expanded program for the New Global Sport Conference 2025 (NGSC 2025), unveiling new speakers, innovative content formats, and upgraded event design ahead of its return to Riyadh on August 23–24.
Taking place at the Four Seasons Hotel during the closing weekend of the Esports World Cup 2025—the world’s largest esports and gaming festival—NGSC 2025 cements its role as the premier global platform connecting gaming, esports, and sport. More than 1,500 delegates and over 500 CEOs, presidents and board members are expected, representing 25+ major publishers, 50+ elite esports clubs, and leaders from global sports, venture capital, and media.
Iconic Industry Leaders Join the NGSC 2025 Stage
The expanded lineup features some of the most recognized names in gaming, technology, and entertainment
Hideo Kojima, legendary game creator, alongside filmmaker Nicolas Winding Refn.
Yves Guillemot, CEO of Ubisoft and the visionary behind Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry.

According to Hans Jagnow, Director of Special Projects at EWCF, NGSC has evolved into “the world’s largest forum for leaders in gaming, esports, and sport.” He emphasized that this year’s program introduces broader content stages and exclusive forums to spark strategic dialogue and industry-defining collaboration.
The Foundry
A brand-new stage designed for masterclasses, workshops, and curated roundtables. While most sessions are open to attendees, select high-level discussions will be invite-only.
Investor Track
Tailored for venture capital and private equity, these closed-door sessions connect leading investors with emerging opportunities across gaming, esports, and sport.
Content Innovation: NGSC Studio and Media Village
In addition to The Foundry, NGSC 2025 introduces the NGSC Studio, a live stage hosting podcasts, interviews, and original programming featuring the voices shaping the future of gaming and sports entertainment.
The Media Village has also been expanded into a central hub for real-time storytelling, press engagement, and digital content production throughout the two-day event.
