FUJIFILM Middle East FZE has announced the launch of its new Interventional Cardiology Business Line across the Middle East and Africa, marking a major expansion of the company’s healthcare portfolio. The announcement comes ahead of WHX Dubai 2026 (formerly Arab Health), set to take place at the Dubai Exhibition Center (DEC) in Expo City Dubai from February 9 to 12, 2026. The official unveiling will occur during the first day of the exhibition at the FUJIFILM Middle East booth, reinforcing the company’s long-term commitment to advancing healthcare innovation and expanding access to cardiac care in the region.
Collaboration with Innvolution Healthcare
As part of this initiative, FUJIFILM Middle East is partnering with Innvolution Healthcare, a leading provider of precision diagnostic solutions and personalized treatment for cardiovascular diseases. This strategic collaboration aims to broaden access to world-class interventional cardiology technologies across MEA, enabling hospitals and healthcare providers to adopt advanced, reliable, and high-quality cardiac solutions.
Comprehensive Interventional Cardiology Portfolio
Through its collaboration with Innvolution Healthcare, FUJIFILM Middle East will distribute a wide-ranging portfolio of interventional cardiology solutions. The offering includes cardiac catheterization laboratories (cathlabs and angiography systems), Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) systems, balloon catheters, drug-eluting stents, and a full range of interventional and cardiac accessories, addressing the growing demand for advanced cardiovascular interventions across the region.
Integrated Solutions for Improved Clinical Outcomes
The newly launched interventional products are designed to support cardiologists with high-precision diagnostics while enabling personalized treatment approaches for patients. These solutions will be delivered alongside FUJIFILM’s established cardiovascular IT systems, cardiac CT scanners, and ultrasound diagnostic devices, creating a fully integrated ecosystem aimed at improving clinical outcomes for the rapidly rising number of cardiovascular disease patients.

He highlighted that cardiovascular diseases remain one of the most pressing health challenges globally, noting that more than 1.4 million deaths occur annually in the Middle East and North Africa, reflecting an increase of nearly 48% over the past three decades. These figures underscore the urgent need for enhanced diagnostic capabilities and affordable treatment options across the region.

FUJIFILM Middle East’s interventional cardiology portfolio features a compact, cost-effective, floor-mounted single-plane cathlab solution designed to enhance imaging precision while offering flexible operating space and deep angulation capabilities. The system simplifies workflows for cardiovascular, peripheral vascular, and neurovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures and is equipped with high-performance AI-driven imaging technologies that improve stent visualization, supported by advanced software for accurate stent planning.
High-Resolution OCT Imaging
The Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) systems provide high-resolution intravascular imaging, enabling cardiologists to achieve exceptional clarity during interventional procedures. These systems enhance visualization of vascular anatomy and lesion morphology, supporting accurate diagnosis, optimized treatment planning, and improved patient outcomes.
Next-Generation Drug-Eluting Stents
The portfolio also includes Everolimus drug-eluting stents, recognized among the highest-grade solutions in their class. Featuring an industry-leading 60-micron strut thickness, the stents combine ease of insertion with mechanical strength. Their proprietary wave-shaped design and reduced connector components improve blood flow at coronary bifurcation sites, enhance side-branch access, and ensure optimal conformity within angulated vessels.
Official Launch at WHX Dubai
The official launch ceremony for FUJIFILM Middle East’s Interventional Cardiology Solutions will take place during WHX Dubai 2026 at the FUJIFILM Middle East booth (#N21.G50) in the North Hall on February 9, 2026.
