Casablanca is set to host the inaugural edition of the World Advanced Manufacturing & Future Mobility Exhibition (WAM Morocco) from 20 to 22 January, marking the region’s first dedicated Industry 4.0 platform focused on advanced and intelligent manufacturing, future mobility, industrial innovation and supply-chain transformation.

Connecting Morocco’s Industry with Global Leaders

WAM Morocco is designed to link Morocco’s rapidly evolving industrial ecosystem with leading global technology and manufacturing players. The event aims to accelerate investment, drive technology adoption and strengthen cross-border collaboration between Africa and international markets, positioning Morocco as a strategic gateway for next-generation industrial growth.

Global Organisation and Strategic Partnerships

The exhibition is organised by KAOUN International, part of Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), and delivered in partnership with a strong network of regional and international stakeholders. These include MSC Pro, CDD, UM6P, Advantage Austria and Der Mittelstand. BVMW of Germany, bringing together public and private sector leaders to advance tangible Industry 4.0 transformation across borders.

Commenting on the launch, Trixie LohMirmand, CEO of KAOUN International, said WAM Morocco serves as a strategic catalyst for Morocco and Africa’s rise in intelligent manufacturing and future mobility. She noted that aligning global expertise with regional ambition opens new opportunities for investment, collaboration and long-term industrial expansion.

Strong International Participation and Market Confidence

The debut edition reflects growing international confidence in Morocco’s industrial future. More than 100 companies from over 18 countries are set to participate, including Morocco, Nigeria, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, Germany, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Saudi Arabia. Global industry leaders such as Schneider Electric, SAP, Engie, Sumitomo Corporation, Zoho, Rockwell Automation, Hitachi, Vigel and Vivo Energy will be present, reinforcing large-scale collaboration and real-world Industry 4.0 deployment across Africa.

A spokesperson from Schneider Electric highlighted that intelligent manufacturing is reshaping global industries, with Morocco emerging as a location where this transformation can scale rapidly. The company’s participation underscores its commitment to supporting the industrial ecosystem with advanced technologies, expertise and partnerships aimed at building the factories of the future.

A High-Impact Conference Agenda

At the core of WAM Morocco is a comprehensive three-day conference programme featuring four central themes, eight key sectors, more than 60 hours of content and over 60 global expert speakers across two dedicated stages. The agenda addresses critical priorities such as data centres for future-ready industries, global capital flows into smart manufacturing, green manufacturing, future freight mobility and transport.

Strategic Topics Shaping the Industrial Future

The conference will also explore industrial infrastructure sovereignty, AI-driven factories, large-scale decarbonisation initiatives and major energy transition strategies, positioning WAM Morocco as a thought leadership platform for the next phase of industrial development.

Global Decision-Makers and First-Time Appearances

WAM Morocco will bring together senior decision-makers from government, industry and finance. Confirmed speakers include Dr. Mehdi Snène, Chief AI Officer at the United Nations (Switzerland); Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, Director-General of NITDA (Nigeria); Dr. Ghita Mezzour, former Moroccan Minister of Digital Transition; Khalid Safir, Director General of Groupe CDG; and Yasmina Lahlou, Executive Director at Bank of Africa Group. The event also marks first-time speaking appearances in Morocco by international leaders from UNIDO, Fortinet, ENGIE and Blazie Holdings.

Startups, Innovation and the Supernova Challenge

The exhibition will feature a selection of high-potential international startups, including Xane.ai from India and Dinabi from Spain, supported by an Invest India country pavilion focused on accelerating cross-border industrial innovation. This effort is further strengthened by the Supernova Challenge, a flagship startup pitch competition offering a USD 10,000 cash prize and direct access to investors, scale partners and industrial leaders.

WAM Morocco will connect more than 100 global investors managing over USD 50 billion in assets across 20+ countries. Investment networks such as Alex Angels (Egypt) will join institutional players including AMIC (MENA), Harvard Consulting (USA) and Bpifrance, accelerating capital deployment into advanced manufacturing and next-generation mobility sectors.
