Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) has announced a new agreement with Saudia, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, covering the purchase and long-term leaseback of four new Boeing 777F aircraft.
Under the agreement, the aircraft are scheduled for delivery between October 2026 and May 2027, supporting Saudia’s growing cargo operations and strengthening its ability to serve key markets across its global network.
DAE Supports Saudia’s Growing Cargo Operations
Firoz Tarapore, Chief Executive Officer of DAE, said the company is pleased to enter into the purchase-leaseback agreement for the four Boeing 777F aircraft with Saudia.
He noted that the transaction reflects DAE’s continued commitment to supporting airline customers with high-quality aircraft that are in demand across the market.
According to Tarapore, the new freighters will contribute to Saudia’s expanding cargo operations while enhancing the airline’s ability to connect and serve important markets throughout its global network.
He added that DAE looks forward to working with Saudia and supporting the airline’s continued growth.
Boeing 777F Delivers Long-Range Cargo Capability
The Boeing 777F is a long-range, widebody freighter developed to combine strong payload capacity with operational efficiency and reliability.
The aircraft can transport a broad range of cargo across international markets and has become a widely used freighter among leading cargo operators worldwide.
Its combination of long-range capability and substantial cargo capacity makes the 777F well suited to supporting expanding global air freight networks.
DAE Manages a Fleet of More Than 1,000 Aircraft
The agreement further highlights the scale of DAE’s global aircraft portfolio. The company currently owns, manages and is committed to owning more than 1,000 aircraft, including over 250 Boeing aircraft.
DAE also plans to continue expanding its fleet as it responds to growing demand across the global aviation market, reinforcing its position as a major provider of aviation services and aircraft leasing solutions.
New Freighters Strengthen Saudia’s Global Network
The addition of four new Boeing 777F freighters is expected to provide further support for Saudia’s expanding cargo activities while giving the airline additional capacity to serve key international markets.
